Jennifer Dunne: Bringing Global Experience and a Passion for Teaching 💃

Jennifer is thrilled to be joining the Mount Pearl School of Dance teaching team this season! Recently relocated with her family to Conception Bay South, NL from Winnipeg, MB, Jennifer brings a wealth of international training and teaching experience to the studio. ✨

Dance Background 🌍

Originally from Scotland, Jennifer began her training with respected schools and programs including:

  • Dumfries School of Dance
  • Dansarena Studios
  • Scottish Ballet Associates Program

She went on to complete her post-secondary dance training with an HND in Dance Education, and graduated from The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts with a BA (Hons) Degree in Performing Arts (Dance).

Professional Performance Career 🌟

After graduating, Jennifer performed professionally on the international stage, including:

  • Dancing onboard Costa Cruise Lines
  • Touring various European countries with LM Productions

Teaching Qualifications 🎓

Jennifer discovered her passion for teaching early, and has built an impressive set of credentials:

  • Registered RAD Ballet Instructor
  • ADAPT Certified Jazz and Tap Teacher
  • Certified in the Intellidance Pre-School Program

Her teaching career began in Cork, Ireland, and has taken her across the globe — working with studios including Dance City (Regina, Saskatchewan) and Kickit Dance Studio (Winnipeg, Manitoba).

Beyond the Dance Floor ⭐

Jennifer is a proud mother of three, and loves spending time with her family exploring their new home of Newfoundland. She is excited to join the amazing faculty team and bring her passion and expertise to the studio!
