Our Studio

A brand new home for dance in Mount Pearl.

In November 2025, Mount Pearl School of Dance moved into a beautiful new facility on Topsail Road — purpose-built for the kind of training we have always aspired to offer. Located on the main road with ample parking, the space is designed to be welcoming, professional, and fully equipped for every style and level of dancer we teach.

From the sprung performance floors to the LED-lit mirror walls, every detail of the new studio was chosen with our dancers in mind. This is a space built to inspire.

Studio A

Studio A is a bright, versatile space suited to a wide range of dance styles and class sizes. Freshly painted throughout, it features a full-width mirror wall, professional laminate flooring, and a dedicated sound system — everything needed for a focused, quality class environment.

Studio B — The Main Stage

Studio B is the heart of our facility — a full-scale performance and training space designed to the highest professional standard. The sprung floor with marley surface provides the ideal surface for dancers of every style, protecting joints and supporting technique in equal measure. The full-width mirror wall is framed by LED lighting that creates an atmosphere unlike any other studio in the region. A wall-mounted TV supports video instruction and choreography review, and the professional sound system delivers clear, powerful audio for every class.

Studio C

Studio C is a large, open studio space offering generous room for bigger classes, ensemble work, and rehearsals. With a full marley dance floor, full-width mirror wall, and dedicated sound system, it provides a professional training environment for groups of all sizes. A wall-mounted TV supports instruction and video review. Like every space in our facility, Studio C has been freshly painted and is designed to feel welcoming the moment you walk in.

Everything Your Dancer Needs

The studios are just the beginning. Our new facility has been designed to support every person who walks through our doors — dancers, parents, teachers, and visitors alike.

Waiting Area

A comfortable, welcoming waiting area for parents and family members. The space features a large TV displaying MPSDtv — our own content channel showing competition performance highlights, the current studio schedule, and studio news and notices.

Office

Our front office is your first stop for registration, questions, and anything you need from our team. We are always happy to help.

Teacher’s Lounge

A dedicated space for our faculty to prepare, plan, and recharge between classes.

Accessible Washrooms

Two fully wheelchair-accessible washrooms ensure that our facility is welcoming and comfortable for every dancer and family member.

Kitchen Facilities

A full kitchen space for use by staff and faculty.

Air Conditioning

The entire facility is fully air conditioned — comfortable for dancers and families through every season.

Parking

Ample parking directly on site, with easy access from Topsail Road.

Location

Conveniently located on Topsail Road — one of Mount Pearl’s main roads — making us easy to find and easy to get to from across the city.

MPSDtv — Always Something to Watch

Our waiting area features MPSDtv — MPSD’s own dedicated content channel displayed on a large screen. While you wait, catch competition performance highlights from our dancers, check the current studio schedule, and stay up to date with studio news, upcoming events, and important notices. It is our way of keeping the whole MPSD community connected, even while you are in the waiting room.
